If you cannot book a summer holiday, then how can you possibly plan to campaign in April for local elections on 6th May?
And here in Lanchester, will anyone vote? All my adult life, I have been told that the people here only turned out in order to vote for him. If he were not there, it was insisted, "then they wouldn't vote at all."
Well, he is not going to be there this time. So we shall see.
