No Confidence

Straight out lies from Theresa May.

First about the economy; there was no recession on the day of the 2010 General Election. And then about Salisbury and Douma.

Trying to revive the IRA business, as if anyone could even remember it. Take that one up with the Queen, who has been having them to stay overnight for decades.

And then anti-Semitism, meaning that she is down to a core vote strategy of appealing only to a tiny group two thirds of which voted Conservative even in 2015, when the Leader of the Labour Party was Jewish.

She has the votes for tonight, of course. So much for last night's rebels.

But roll on the scrutiny of a General Election, if this is the best she can do. She is even worse than last time.

Regardless of who led either party, however, another hung Parliament is coming, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it.

It has become a local commonplace that I am on 30-30-30 with Labour and the Conservatives here at North West Durham, so that any one of us could be the First Past the Post.

I will stand for this seat, if I can raise the £10,000 necessary to mount a serious campaign. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
